How to Setup Call Forwarding

To ensure MetroIQ catches the calls you miss, you need to set up Conditional Call Forwarding on your phone. This ensures your phone rings normally first, and only sends the call to MetroIQ if you don't answer, are on another line, or are out of service.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.My AI assistant isn't answering. What should I check first?

This is almost always a call-forwarding issue. Confirm that conditional call forwarding is still active on your phone and pointing to the MetroIQ number shown in your portal, then test it by letting a call ring without answering.

2.How do I set up call forwarding on my phone?

Open the Call Forwarding Setup page in your member portal or the Support page for your carrier's dialer codes (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon). Dial the activation code followed by your MetroIQ number, then have someone call your business line and let it ring to confirm the AI picks up.

3.Where can I see my leads and call history?

Sign in to the member portal at /portal/login.html. The lead board shows every inbound call with caller details, urgency, and map location, and it groups repeat calls from the same customer together.

4.How do I change the questions my AI asks callers?

Go to Account Profile in the portal and edit the Intake Questions field. Save your changes and new calls will use the updated questions; you can also update your service description there so the AI explains your business accurately.

5.How do I update the phone number that receives lead text messages?

Open Account Profile in the portal and change the Mobile Phone (For Instant SMS Lead Alerts) field, then save. New leads will be texted to the updated number.

6.I forgot my password. How do I get back into the portal?

On the portal login page, click Forgot Password? and enter your account email. We'll send a temporary password to that inbox; after signing in, you can set a new password under Account & Phone Setup.

7.How do I change my plan or update my billing information?

In the portal, open Account & Phone Setup and click Manage Subscription. That opens the secure Stripe customer portal where you can change your billing cycle, update your card, and download invoices.

8.What happens if I cancel my plan?

You can cancel anytime and there is no long-term contract. Your AI assistant stays active until the end of your current paid term (month, quarter, or year), then service stops.
